BE CONNECTED

Discover how being online can add new skills and experiences to your life.

Be Connected is a free Australian government initiative to help you get the most out of going online. Be Connected can help you:

  • learn the basics and realise the full potential of going online;
  • be safe while you're online;
  • talk to, or see family or friends who live far away, more often;
  • find new or old friends who share your interests or hobbies;
  • keep up to date with what's happening in your community and around the world;
  • learn how to shop online, safely and securely, without leaving home.

And that's just the start.

Be Connected Network

We are your local Be Connected Network Partner.

Be Connected provides online learning resources as well as a network of community partners—the Be Connected Network—who offer in-person support so you can develop your digital skills and confidence.

You can learn new digital skills by enrolling in a Be Connected class at your local campus, by taking part in guided Be Connected Zoom classes when they're running, or by learning how to use the Be Connected website to learn at home when it suits you.

No matter how you prefer to learn, we're here to help you.

Digital Mentors

What is a Digital Mentor?

A digital mentor provides support to family, friends or people in their community by encouraging them to get online and/or developing their computer skills in a one-on-one basis or group setting.

Volunteers who are willing to help others learn new skills are always welcomed. If you have a passion for digital inclusion and are ready to help, call us on 1800 952 264.
