COVID-19 UPDATE

Be CovidSafe

We're a COVID Safe business

Community College Northern Inland is registered as a COVID Safe business with a Covid-19 Safety Plan in place. The college is fully operational with campuses open to the public. We are continuing to review and monitor the COVID-19 situation and to update our learning community with important information when required. We ask that you take the time to read this update and other information we may provide.

Be Covid-safe. Wash your hands regularly.

Managing the risk of Coronavirus

Steps you need to take to help us manage the risks associated with COVID-19 in our campuses.
You need to tell us if you are currently enrolled in a class and:

  • become unwell with flu like symptoms;
  • have been diagnosed with COVID-19;
  • have been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 or are at high risk.

You can contact us on 1800 952 264 or after hours please contact Alison Heagney on 0428 498 171.

Steps we’re taking to manage the risks associated with COVID-19 in our campuses.
The college is complying with current Australian Government guidelines including information published by Training Services NSW (TSNSW) and the NSW Department of Health. While the Australian Government may from time to time place certain restrictions on gatherings and businesses these restrictions currently do not apply to education institutions.

The college has conducted its own risk assessment and will continue to offer a range of face-to-face training while it is considered safe to do so. The planned educational program will be subject to changes in regulations.

All campuses offering face-to-face training are:

promoting personal hygiene and general social distancing within the classroom and other college areas;

providing instruction and amenities for personal hygiene and infection control;

increasing cleaning and disinfection of high traffic areas or shared surfaces, particularly of training rooms, toilets, common areas, door handles and equipment;

monitoring the well-being of students in class with any student who is unwell being sent home.
