Chainsaw - Operate and Maintain
This two-day course aims to train staff that operate chainsaws in the correct and effective operation ensuring awareness of safety and basic maintenance issues. Students will learn the theory component of the course on Day 1 with practical activities on Day 2. Students will each be required to cut the equivalent of a box trailer load of wood from fallen limbs.

Confined Spaces

When working in confined spaces, there are serious health and safety risks. Confined spaces may pose a danger because they are not designed to be areas where people work.
Many workplaces have confined spaces such as pits, drains and structural voids in buildings or equipment. They often have poor ventilation that can allow a hazardous atmosphere to quickly develop. The hazards are not always obvious, may change from one entry into the confined space to the next and depend on the workplace or environmental circumstances.
Accredited Training
Licence to Operate a Forklift Truck - NE Training
Forklifts are used to lift, stack and transfer loads in workplaces across NSW. A standard forklift and its load can weigh five or more tonnes, making forklift operation a high risk activity.
Forklift operators must hold a high risk work licence. Training must be completed through a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), with skills and knowledge assessed under realistic workplace conditions. Once obtained, the licence is valid for five years.
Talented Training - RTO ID No. 45144, will be delivering, assessing and issuing Statements of Attainment to students assessed as competent in the units per course requirements.
Traffic Controller Combined Skill Set
This course teaches people how to stop and start traffic in temporary traffic management. It also teaches people how to manage traffic on a site and how to direct road workers.

White Card
CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry
A White Card (general construction induction card) is required for people carrying out construction work, including site managers, supervisors, surveyors, labourers and tradespeople. It is also required for people who enter operational construction zones without direct supervision, or whose work requires them to routinely access these areas.
To obtain a White Card, you must satisfactorily complete general construction induction training with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO).

For all employees who are required to work at heights, this course covers the safety requirements, responsibilities and use of equipment when working at heights in the resources and infrastructure industries. This unit is appropriate for those working in operational roles undertaking work at heights.
