Community College Northern Inland Inc. (CCNI) is a not-for-profit registered training organisation (RTO) specialising in a range of nationally accredited adult education programs.
Position Purpose
Our Campus Administrator will provide front line customer service, student support and administration of student enrolments and classes using our student management system.
The Campus Administrator will, with the Campus Coordinator and the rest of the CCNI team, ensure that CCNI’s practices and behaviours comply with the Standards for RTO’s by providing students with quality outcomes through the five key phases of the student experience – Marketing and Recruitment, Enrolment, Support and Progression, Training and Assessment and, Completion.
General responsibilities

Be the first point of contact and provide good customer service to visitors, students and trainers at all times whether by phone or face-to-face contact.

Manage and direct calls made to the college, handling sensitive enquiries with tact and discretion.

Perform clerical duties for the campus including organising correspondence, file management, accurate data entry and ordering campus supplies.
- Manage student bookings, preparing classrooms or venues and ensuring supplies and support for the trainer and students.

Maintain a record of student enrolment, contacts and consultations in the student management system.

Provide day-to-day support to the Campus Coordinator, trainers, facilitators and visiting staff.

Comply with CCNI policies and procedures, including matters related to Work, Health and Safety, and Equal Opportunity.
Essential criteria
- Strong communication skills and commitment to customer service.
- Excellent skills in Microsoft 365 or similar cloud system including Word, Outlook and Excel.
- Excellent skills in email and file management.
- Experience using third-party software and apps such as student management systems, office software and social media platforms.
- Accurate data entry skills.
- Ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision.
- Experience in a confidential environment and able to use good judgement (common sense).
- Effective time management skills and the ability to work to strict deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a broad range of people from a variety of backgrounds and experiences as well as highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Working with Children Check and a National Police Clearance Certificate.
- Current Driver’s Licence and the ability to travel.
Desirable criteria
- Certificate IV Training and Assessment.
- Business or administration qualifications.
- Understanding and experience of the vocational education and training sector.
Hours and remuneration
- This position is part-time, 16.5 hours per week, starting in February 2025.
- 9.00am until 3.00pm - Monday to Wednesday.
- $30.95 per hour.
