Course description

Learn how to get the most out of using technology every day by enrolling in a free weekly Get Digital workshop for beginners. Whether you're using a computer, tablet or smart phone to get online and interact in the digital world, these sessions will help develop your skills, confidence and awareness of safety online.

Who is this course for?

School leavers who need to broaden their range of digital skills for work or further study;
Adult learners who have a low level of confidence or who lack the digital literacy skills required to successfully complete their training;
Unemployed or retrenched workers who wish to learn new digital skills to increase their chances of getting a job;
Employed workers who need to upskill to be able to keep up with rapid technological change in the workplace;
Business owners who recognise the need to embrace digital transformation in order to remain competitive;
Adults living in rural areas who have a low level of digital literacy as a result of reduced or poor quality access to technology;
Mums and dads who want to learn the skills required to better manage and support the family's use of technology;
Seniors who wish to become connected for social, health and business purposes.
