Leadlighting/Copper Foiling

Course description Collapse

In this one-day leadlight workshop you'll learn how to cut glass, grind, copper foil and solder as you make a beautiful copper foiled leadlight suncatcher to gift or hang in a special place in your home. No experience is needed to join this class and there will be lots of help on hand with two experienced glass artists to guide you step-by-step through the leadlighting process on the day.

Students in this workshop will complete a project that they will take home at the end of the weekend.

Please bring your lunch, wear old clothes and covered in footwear for protection!

Award-winning Volcania Art Glass has been creating handmade bespoke glass products for more than two decades. Owners Linda and Mark Floyd, produce a range that includes designer glass plates, dishes, vases, coasters and sculptures, and stained glass/leadlight lamps, bowls and a variety of suncatchers.
