Basic First Aid
This introductory First Aid workshop is designed to help people build confidence responding to common incidents and everyday emergencies. Through practical demonstrations and simple explanations, participants will learn basic steps that can help provide assistance until further help arrives.
Topics covered include what first aid is and when it may be needed, how to call for help in an emergency, and how to respond if someone is unconscious or has fallen. Participants will also learn simple techniques for managing bleeding, applying basic bandages, responding to bites and stings, and maintaining good hygiene when providing first aid.
The workshop is delivered in a supportive environment that offers step-by-step guidance to help participants feel confident learning new skills. No previous first aid experience is required.
