Provide CPR


HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
This course describes the skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines.

The course applies to all workers who may be required to provide CPR‚ in a range of situations‚ including community and workplace settings.

This course describes the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty in line with first aid guidelines determined by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and other Australian national peak clinical bodies.

Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting

HLTAID012 Provide first aid in an education and care setting

This course describes the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to infants‚ children and adults in line with first aid guidelines determined by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and other Australian national peak clinical bodies.

The course applies to a range of workers within an education and care setting who are required to respond to a first aid emergency, including asthma and anaphylactic emergencies. This includes early childhood workers and educators who work with school age children in outside school hours care and vacation programs.

RAMHP - Avoiding Burnout


Most people experience stress from time to time, but extreme and unrelenting pressures can lead to burnout.

This 2-hour course identifies the signs and symptoms of burnout in yourself and others, describes how burnout can impact mental health, and also explores techniques to avoid burnout and support positive mental health.

This course is conducted by Rural Adversity Mental Health Program (RAMHP).

RAMHP - Mental Heath First Aid


This 2-day course teaches adults (aged 18 years and over) how to provide initial support to other adults who are developing a mental illness or experiencing a mental health crisis. Participants will learn about the signs and symptoms of common and disabling mental health problems, how to provide initial help, where and how to get professional help, what sort of help has been shown by research to be effective, and how to provide help in a crisis situation.

This course is conducted by Rural Adversity Mental Health Program (RAMHP).
