Hospitality Trainers and Assessors
Community College Northern Inland is looking for qualified Safe Food Handling and Food Safety Supervisor trainers and assessors to join our growing team!
Community College Northern Inland Inc. (CCNI) is a not-for-profit registered training organisation (RTO) specialising in a range of nationally accredited adult education programs. The College is currently seeking qualified and experienced Hospitality Trainers and Assessors for Safe Food Handling.
We provide Hospitality training throughout the Northern Inland region, at our campuses in Barraba, Bingara, Gunnedah, Inverell, Moree, Narrabri and Warialda. We pride ourselves on the quality of training we deliver—our key focus is our students and affording them with a rewarding and enriching learning experience.
Essential criteria
- Current qualification in training and assessment - TAE40110 (and TAELLN411 & TASASS502) or TAE40116 or TAE40122 or higher.
- Minimum of 3 years recent industry experience working within hospitality venues (completed within the last two years.)
- Holds the following units:
- SITXFSA005 - Use Hygienic Practices for Food Safety (or equivalent such as SITXFSA001);
- SITXFSA006 - Participate in Safe Food Handling Practices (or equivalent such as SITXFSA002).
- Excellent understanding of food-related legislation.
- Sound written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as a team member.
- Experience in validating the course material and content.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong work ethic and organisation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- A proactive, positive attitude and initiative.
- A willingness to travel.
- Class C Driver Licence and reliable vehicle with full comprehensive insurance.
- Barista experience is desirable but not essential.
