Hospitality Trainers/Assessors

Community College Northern Inland is looking for qualified Safe Food Handling and Food Safety Supervisor trainers and assessors to join our growing team!
Community College Northern Inland (CCNI) is a not-for-profit, approved VET provider, providing skills and training opportunities from seven campuses across the New England/North West region. We pride ourselves on being innovative and relevant to the training needs of our regional and remote communities and work with businesses large and small to create training opportunities to meet their staffing needs.
Due to an increase in demand, we're seeking Casual Hospitality Trainers/Assessors in Moree and Narrabri to join our dedicated team.
Essential criteria
- Current qualification in training and assessment - TAE40110 (and TAELLN411 & TASASS502) or TAE40116 or TAE40122 or higher.
- Minimum of 3 years recent industry experience working within hospitality venues (completed within the last two years).
- Hold the following units:
- SITXFSA005 - Use Hygienic Practices for Food Safety (or equivalent such as SITXFSA001);
- SITXFSA006 - Participate in Safe Food Handling Practices (or equivalent such as SITXFSA002).
- Excellent understanding of food-related legislation.
- Sound written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as a team member.
- Experience in validating the course material and content.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong work ethic and organisation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- A proactive, positive attitude and initiative.
- A willingness to travel.
- Class C Driver Licence and reliable vehicle with full comprehensive insurance.
- Barista experience is desirable but not essential.
