Mosaic Workshop

Course description Collapse

Mosaics can be made with pretty much anything tesserae—new, old, recycled, tiles, beads, buttons, glass and mirrors, shells, timber, in fact, you can mosaic most any material provided it is treated correctly before using. Advanced projects  can include flower pots and containers, paths and walkways, benches and tables, walls and fences, water fountains, the list is endless.

The design of the mosaic can be as simple or as complicated as you like with the mosaic making process as time consuming as you wish. Mosaic is an art form that you can walk away from and come back to—the more you do, the more creative you become as you develop your own style and designs.

In this workshop we will begin with a basic starter kit, which will inspire you to move onto the next, more advanced, class.
