BSB20120 Certificate II in Workplace Skills - Skill Sets
Overview
This course is a Skill Set that delivers two units of competency from the BSB20120 Certificate II in Workplace Skills. This short course will help students develop entry-level communication and digital skills that will prepare them for work. Topics covered in this accredited training may include:
- applying basic communication skills in the workplace, including identifying, gathering and conveying information along with completing assigned written information
- selecting and using software, and organising electronic information and data
- using CCNI's Learner Portal.
Units of Competency
Students will complete the following accredited units of competency from the BSB20120 Certificate II in Workplace Skills:
- BSBCMM211 Apply communication skills
- BSBTEC201 Use business software applications
Course Delivery
This training will be delivered in the following ways:
- students will attend practical face-to-face training sessions.
- training sessions will be held one day each week for the course duration.
Target Audience
This course is ideal for:
- Recent school-leavers
- Stay at home parents preparing to re-enter the workforce
- Long term unemployed looking at gaining basic skills
- Start-up or home-based business owners, freelancers or contractors who wish to develop their communication and basic business software skills
- People who wish to return to study but are unable to commit to a full-time course.
Prerequisites for Training
Outlined are the pre-requisites for student enrolment:
- Age eligibility will be course specific (check course requirements);
- Students must have a good command of English and good comprehension;
- Students are required to provide a current email address for contact and communication.
