TSS Tech Savvy Seniors
Tech Savvy Seniors delivers free or low cost digital literacy training to seniors so they can develop the skills and confidence to access information and services online.
The Tech Savvy Seniors program is fun and hands-on, and includes basic introductory courses on using computers, tablets, smart phones, the internet, email and social media to help seniors stay connected with their families, friends and communities.
Tech Savvy Seniors helps bridge the gap between those seniors who use technology and those who don't, delivering real health, social and community benefits, especially for those in rural and remote areas.
Student eligibility is for Seniors, aged 60 years and above or Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander seniors aged 50 years and above.
This successful program is an initiative of the NSW Ageing Strategy and is funded through a partnership between the NSW Government and Telstra.
